Everyone in Connecticut deserves to be able take a sick day when they need it. I want my legislators to support Paid Sick Days.

No one should have to go to work sick

Everyone gets sick. But for too many workers, losing a day's pay (or even a job) is as easy as catching a cold. campaign update 1-26-10
With swine flu in our recent memory and working families struggling more than ever, the need for a basic workplace standard for paid sick days is clearer than ever.

Last year, the Connecticut General Assembly came within inches of passing legislation that would have allowed hundreds of thousands of Connecticut workers to earn paid sick time.

We will continue to provide resources and education about this important public health and economic security policy.
